Gets together for a light meal, fun, and fellowship while working on projects that they had hoped to “get to someday” (a craft, some sewing, knitting/ crocheting, or scrap booking, etc.). Stay as long as you wish - an hour or three hours.
Knit & Kneel
Thursdays, 10:00am (Susanna Room)

A dedicated group of women who makes and gives shawls, blankets, hats, and scarves to those who need comfort. Knit & Kneel donates to groups such as The Sharing Network, Sarah’s Young Men of Resilience, Baby Showers, Veteran’s Home, and to various homeless programs. For those not available at that time, items can be worked on at home. Donations of yarn or money to purchase yarn are always welcome.
Provides a body of workers for various Trustee projects and Council operations; awards an annual scholarship to a Wesley member for post-high school education; is famous for their soup and sandwich fund-raisers; sponsors an annual picnic and Patriots baseball game outing; puts on a Mother’s Day breakfast; and is a source of fellowship for the men of the church.
Meets the third Sunday of the month at 9:00 a.m. (8:00 a.m. in the summer) for a light breakfast, short meeting, and Christian fellowship. All men age 16 and older are welcome.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
Works to support local, national, and international missions for women, children, and youth. Makes pledges and conducts fund raising to raise money for the various missions supported. Mission support has included collecting school supplies for Haiti and donations of food to local food banks.
There are two circles: Grasshoppers meet on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. and Candeliers meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. All women of the church are invited to join us in doing mission work and for spiritual growth, fun, and fellowship.
