The Christian funeral service at Wesley United Methodist Church is grounded in our faith in the resurrection and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. As United Methodists, we affirm that every life is a reflection of God’s grace, and that in death, we entrust our loved ones to God's everlasting care. As the church, we seek to celebrate each person’s life as a gift from God, and to give thanks for the ways they witnessed to God’s love. We also come alongside grieving families with compassion, offering the hope and assurance found in Scripture, prayer, and the presence of the community. To this end, we take thoughtful care in preparing each funeral or memorial service held at Wesley.
