Pastor Jisun (G-Sun) has been engaged in ministry for over twenty years and was ordained in the United Methodist Church in 2022. Prior to receiving her M.Div. from Drew Theological School, she pursued Early Childhood Education at Bergen Community College and obtained her B.A. in Christian Studies (with a minor in Child Studies) from Seoul Women’s University. Jisun is dedicated to working with young disciples and nurturing their spiritual growth. She holds a special interest in pastoral care and is currently advancing her studies with an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Montclair State University. Through the Word of God, prayer, and her presence, she is committed to sharing God’s grace with those in need of comfort.

Jisun is married to Kenny, and they are blessed with three children—two in college and one in high school. She treasures her morning coffee and embraces the joy of lifelong learning. In her free time, she especially enjoys reading a novel or biography and then watching its film adaptation. Recently, she has taken up running and looks forward to participating in future races. She also delights in spending time with her beloved dog, Snooper.
